New Member hello
Hi All,
I have just joined chowchow.org and glad to be on board! I live in the UK, although I am from California. My chow, Kuro, is an amazing pure-bred boy from the Berkeley Animal Shelter in Berkeley. He lives with me in the UK and has made 5 (!) trans-Atlantic flights to date! There are very few chows in England, so he is pretty much a super-star over here. Interestingly, chows do not have the same reputation in the UK that they do in the US - nobody ever assumes that they're aggressive over here, which is a welcome change. That being said, we both miss California. Kuro misses dog parks!
Just thought I'd introduce us and we're looking forward to connecting with other chow families.

Wow! Kuro is quite the flying Chow! We have several Chow members on that side of the pond.
...just fyi, today, California was a warm upper 80 degree weather - great for the first day of summer.

Hello and welcome - to the site and to The Island.
We live here in Cheshire and have three chows - Mabel who is an old girl and our "little squirts" Matilda and Maisie who are 9 months old.
Your boy is beautiful and very well travelled!
I bet he does miss the dog parks as we have nothing like them here but as you say, our chows are not assumed to be vicious.

Kuro is a handsome and happy chow fella. Welcome to the forum. I have a cream chow named Lily.
