Are they spayed and neutered? It would help if you told a little more about your Chows.
Are they male,female,ages,etc.
I hope you find loving homes for them and I'm sorry about your loss.

I got Miss Lily An Wu from Jennifer. I have sent her an e-mail to find out if I have met any of these Chows, or if any of them is from Lily's line. She was a very small breeder, she did not test, I would doubt they are fixed, but I do not know. For Lily's part, she has had no major health problems until her recent battle with her skin. Hips, eyes, elbows and ACL are all not an issue, and Lily is 4, or 5...I forget. I am a terrible mom. 5 I think. Anyway, I requested photos and more information.

Okay, I have been in touch with Jennifer and got these photos and information.

There are 5 Chows total up for adoption, out of 6 that she has. She is keeping Shadow (whom I met) due to age and likely love. BTW, This woman recently became widowed, and just cannot keep these lovvies. Though she was a breeder, she kept her Chows in the house with her and her husband.

Koda Blue is Lily's uncle on her sire's line. Like Lily's sire, Koda is a good size fella at 75 pounds. He is 8 years old, and he is altered.

Abigail is from Iowa originally, and was re-homed to Jennifer because she would not breed. She had no manners and had to learn everything at the age of 2 and a half about proper in-door etiquette. Abbey is a quick and eager learner. She is un-altered, 8 years old, and weighs a svelt 56 pounds.

Mr Little reminds me so much of a former member from the West Coast whose name reminds you of money. Much like him, Mr Little will be 5 in the fall, and is on the lighter side for a male at 55 pounds. Jennifer describes him as a pillar of personality and love. He is unaltered.

BreeAnna is Lily's first cousin, their mothers were litter sisters. She is very sweet, but a bit timid and shy and as with many Chows, warms up slowly. That ball in her mouth is the secret to her heart, because unlike most Chows, it is reported Bree will chases that ball as long as you have the strength to throw it! She is unaltered.

Not pictured yet is another female, and Lily's Aunt on her sire's side, Missy. She is 5, almost 6. She is unaltered, and weighs 45 pounds.

These Chows are currently in Indiana, just south of Michigan. I wish I could takeone or two myself, but I cannot.

Unfortuately, I'm at my limit too. But I can offer transportation thru Ky if someone wants to adopt but doesn't have the means.

I would gladly take one but I live in Chicago, Illinois. I already have what we believe to be a Chow Chow mix and he's very laid back and a sweetheart. You can contact me at my direct eMail addy: ll60655@yahoo.com if you find this helpful.
