A couple more photos:
The memorial candles:
Koda, Khon, Precious, Gizmo & Boosha, Dakota, Lao Tzu, Keiko, Zhuyo, Darkwind, CoCo, Gerbie, Luna (not shown: Tinker)
*PB did fine on her recitation. Judy, she promised me she would do a version of the Litany of Saints. But thought it would be too long for ChowFest. We had wind chimes in the background as each chow's name was announced.
CF07 guest treats:

Yes, I think The Litany of the Saints would have been a bit long.
Mind you, we have a priest who visits us from London. An elderly Irish priest, and he can say Mass at the speed of light - so maybe his version would have done!
Sounds lovely though, your version. I am sure PB did beautifully and the windchimes would have tinkled right up to The Happy Hunting Grounds.

The summer of Chow love!
Hey, everyone!
Great stills and video of CF07. Fabulous location, wonderful Chows, beautiful people. It made me cry a little to remember Lucy's "Chow look" that is now gone forever (she is doing much better, BTW)and laugh a lot to see Chows in party hats (who woulda thought?).
I never saw an answer to the question, "ARE there any Chow folks who don't drink alcohol?!"
Best to all,
Susan

Hi SUSAN!!! It's great to hear from you!!!
I hear you about that question! I figured, I guess not! Manalive, I'm gonna spend the sunday with a bunch of lushes so, let the Sangria pour! Actually, it was a tally for the CF07 commemorative wine. Needed to know we had enough for each guest.
I loved the chows in the party hats too! It was so fun putting them on them. I asked them if they wanted a hat, they held their chins up and let me put it on them. They wore it proudly, with dignity and showed the goofy chow spirit!
Kisses to the Herd's!

What gorgeous treats!! Your logo was just amazing!
Lou, what a sweet to include all of us who couldn't be there. I'm glad you all liked all our dishes.
The candles are so lovely. They brought tears to my eyes.
P.S. Karin, I have that picture frame too! There's a close-up of Special sleeping in mine.
