WOOF FEST!

Post by chris »

I am cordially inviting all that can attend, a WOOF FEST at my house. Chows and non Chows welcome... as well as their humans.

Dates are 25-26th.
I live in Ingleside Illinois, directions will be giving to those coming.
bring a dish to pass for lunch/dinner and we will have a big breakfast Sunday morning before everyone heads off who stays over.

We will be BBQ'n in the back yard... we also have a beach down the road ... about a block away... dogs welcome... leashed / non leashed (keep in mind, beach is not fenced in) DH is the president of the association so I can do what ever I want at the beach ;-)

Let me know who is coming so I can start planning accordingly.

HAPPY WOOF FEST! (OCTOBER FEST... ONLY DOGS... HEHEHE ;-) )

P.S. I have some room here for those that would like to stay... other wise you can "tent" it... or I can tell you of a few local hotels if need be. :-)

Oh, I almost missed this cause I kept looking to see if you updated the chicagoland thread. We are talking about October 25th, correct?

Yes, we will be there. 2 humans and 2 chows. I can't wait to meet you and your furkids!

I will be there as well. 2 Humans, 1 Chow. I would love to bring my chow mix.... but sometimes Libby doesn't play well with others. I will feel bad leaving her at home.. but she likes to stir things up too much.

Hey Chris, are you still having a woofest? If so, Haley and I may come, and we are not leaving...I mean, for the night. Yeah...move over I need lotsa leg room. I have to throw a set of tires on the ol' Buick and give the girls each a bath. I will talk to Lily about correct protocol with Steelo, though, don't be surprised if she takes a shine to Chief, she likes the big boys. Anyway, I will PM you and discuss particulars. Better warn the DH about my quirky sense of humor...lol.

If your looking for directions on the internet to Woof Fest, I recommend trying http://www.randmcnally.com. They actually have directions to Chris' street address. Mapquest only can get you to Ingleside and not to the actual street.

you got some really great pics. I didnt get very many good ones. I am sure Connie aka Tabitha will post them.
I had a great time meeting everyone today. And I would like to thank Chris for being a wonderful Hostess.. everything was perfect :)
And I was very happy my Angel lived up to her name in behavior.. I have never had her around that many Chows... or dogs for that matter at once without her big sister Libby being with her. I was nervous.

Probably because of my squeaky voice. I took the video. I was the only smoker (bad me) so I was outside with a few of the fur-kids and decided to make a mini movie.
I fell in love with Chief... he was so sweet.. as you tell from my video.. most of the focus was on him.
By the way Chris... did the toy last?

Great pics and videos, but I think Auddymay must be holding out on us...I bet she has more. Miss Lily was too adorable...she barely looks bigger than Little Roxie.

It always amazes me when I see that many Chows/non-Chows together and no one gets their fur ruffled. It's also amazing how so many people can gather together even though they only know one another via an on-line forum. Gotta love technology!
