Ok, lets get this started. I'm far Northwest of Chicago and have never been to a dog park although there are two in my town. Anyone with recommendations for a location? I see there are even indoor dog parks in Chicago proper that would guard against bad weather. I was thinking October to have time to get off work myself (Nurses have to work weekends, darn patients won't go home and come back to hospital on Monday!). Chris, Babs??

I am in the western suburbs. I have heard bad things about the dog park near me. The head of the humane society where I adopted Sophie told me a couple of dogs where killed in fights when owners didn't control their dogs. Yikes! So I haven't taken Sophie and Ty there.

Chris, are you sure you want a pack of Chows at your house?
