I did. Lonnie told me... but my left hand was holding the phone and my right hand was clicking to get into my PM's inbox so I can get Becky and Bonnie's contact information for Lonnie at the shelter. But it is pretty much the same timeframe when her last siting was at the construction area. Lonnie also was excited when I read him the post that Becky/Sweetpea wrote about where (the streets and location) Molly was last seen. I made a flip comment, that since I was calling from California, I wouldn't know the area but I trusted that he knew and that I really don't know what states surround IL , but I do know where Hawaii is located.

It's Molly, look at the divit on her nose on the two photos - shelter and full face shot that I had!

I just feel so lucky to be a part of this site especially during times like these when people pull together for the love of an animal. Makes me wanna cry sometimes. By the way, any idea how long Molly (and I'm praying that it is her) has been at the shelter??
Roxana,

Tisha, a shelter employee told me that Molly #1 was brought in on April 16th.
They had her listed as "yellow" and there was no photo!
I just had to go on gut feeling!
Oh, I pray this is truly Molly!

The more I look at the pictures, the more convinced I am that this is her. HOORAY!!!! I can't wait to hear how it goes at the shelter.

Oh and please don't forget to get her microchipped before you leave the shelter with her, just in case, god forbid, she should get loose again, somehow.

This group has the most amazing ppl I have ever met on any group. I joined my first group 10 yrs.ago.
I hope it's Molly. I am posting photos of Molly, I edited them. I don't have a good ed.software. I looked at the chow posted and I think if you look at the chow's stance, her hind feet, one foot slightly inward. The ears..........it's gotta be Molly.

This is simply amazing to watch unfold.. I am bursting with pride and emotion just to "know you" all.

The terms "cannot do" or "will not do" DO NOT APPLY to you!

I couldn't wait, so I called the shelter, they said it's her dog and they had to get a prepaid rabies and they will be picking her up.

I hope this is Molly, otherwise all of you are going to hate me for giving false hope!!!!
I was so concerned about that, that when I found this chowgirl, I headed the thread..."Is this Molly".
What I really wanted to say,
"OMG, I THINK I FOUND MOLLY"!!!!
But, I didn't want to upset anyone.
Please promise me guys, if this is NOT Molly you won't be upset with me. If this is not Molly, I will be upset with myself enough for everyone!!!
I have to get off this computer, I'm going nuts waiting!!
I'll be back later.

Jeff thanks for calling. That was very good news.

I doubt the shelter has ever gotten this many calls about one dog before :).

Bama, no one would be mad at you for that! Look at what you have done?
Of course it appears as though this story has a VERY happy ending and you don't have to stress over it, but even if it weren't... you would be THAT MUCH MORE loved because of how far you are willing to go for the welfare of those fuzzies we love so much!

OMG!! I just got back home not too long ago, this is amazing!! Oh Jeff, I hope that's true!!! You are all so amazing. I have been thinking about her non-stop and now to think she could be safe and sound, oh thank God...I can't stop crying.

Sherill, are you kidding?!?!?! OMG, you're a hero, if it turned out not to be her, there's NO way anyone could be mad about that!

This is the most wonderful news!!!
I'm so proud of all of you that helped to make this happen:
Chris for sounding the alarm, Jeff posting to craigslist, Bama for her network of people, Lou for her long distance communication with the shelter, thanks to everyone. The list is long - I may not have named you but believe me your efforts are amazing!
This a great national event!

This is such wonderful news. Now I can start cooking dinner, feed my chow and take Mikki for a long walk. I am getting these accusary chow looks. Like mom, sunny out, let's go.

I hope that Molly is going to be travelling with a harness. Let's hope it's smooth sailing from here on.

Thanks for all involved. Molly deserves a safe home.
