She looks sweet, especially when you consider her circumstances. I love her tipped ear, it gives her personality-plus. Congratulations, did we mention we love photos?

We got Nala Sunday night. She looks like she might have been someone's pet
but more recently has had a hard life. She has had a litter of pups in the last
6 months and is very scrawny. She has suffered some kind of trama to her
ear that droops. Her nature is so sweet and easy going for the life she has
had to live lately. Anyways she will get plenty to eat and much love at our
house. We have a black boy 2 1/2 years old born blind and they should make
good friends. Will post a picture later after we get some meat on her bones.

We took our doggie girl to the vet. She has an yeast infection in her ear - treatible. At some
time in the past had a blood clot in that ear that didn't get taken care of and damaged the
ear as far as standing up. We notice she has a slight tic when she licks her face too. She is
very very sweet and got along with our Solomon boy (blind) just fine. I think at some time
or the other she was hit in the head and that is what caused all the problems. She has a
forever home with us now. It breaks my heart to see these dogs so mistreated. Some times
I can't even read the stories on this list for all the cruelty that has happened to them. Anyways
we are very glad to have her and have changed her name to Kaila - "who is like our God"

I am so glad Kaila has a good home now! That was my first thought when I saw her picture, that she might have been hit in the head. She will be very happy in your home. Keep us posted as to her progress!

I thought I would bring everyone up to date on our girl. We renamed her Kaila. It has been a hard two weeks for
her as we had her spayed last week. We had to wait until she was thru her heat cycle after getting her. At the
same time she had a heart worm check and showed positive. This week it was back to the vet for the treatment
and in rechecking her it was found she had Lyme disease. It was two days at the vet for heart worm treatment
and a round of antibiotics for the Lyme disease. She has lost 6 pounds this week but it will be a slow recovery
for her of atleast two weeks of rest. I noticed she no longer has the jerking motion when she licks. Part of
the symptons of the Lyme disease is a limp and other nerve type disorders. Thru all this she has maintained
her sweet temper. Fortunately the heart worm level was slight and we look forward to getting that licked too.
When I picked her up at the vet last night I told my husband it looked as if she had tears in her eyes. I can
only imagine being left two weeks in a row for treatments would be like being abandoned again. Not so, doggie
girl you have a forever home with us.

Kaila is very lucky to have you! I'd love to see more pictures of her since you've had her! It is so nice to hear how these adoptions have worked out!
