Roxi's tail
Ok, first off I have to say I tried looking for a web site about poms but there isn't one. And there isn't one like this site.
So anyway.. her tail looks like it is thinning out. I think it is from her and steel playing because he will pull her accross the kitchen floor by her tail. I wonder if he is pulling the air out too. do you guys think it will grow back again.. all fluffy? (wouldn't wanna dissapoint JR. )

A bit of bitter apple might keep Steel from pulling the tip of the tail. iffy . My dogs get pretty rough and have pull hair out and so far all of it has grown back. I have heard that thyroid also gives some dogs a " rat tail " look where all of it starts to vanish from the tip on down. Especially if the leg hair starts to thin. Our husky did the opposite, leg hair thinned then the tail hair started. He is on light thyroid meds. Good luck. Sorry the pom's hair is coming. Is it a standard or mini? I have known lots of folks with them but none with this particular problem.
