Hi!
I have a 10 month old cinnamon colored chow and his hair throughout his entire body is silky smooth, but the hair on his buttocks are awfully DRY. They often clump together and are easily torn just by combing them out... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Both of mine have drier, more wiry hair on their back ends/tails. I'm not sure anything can/should be done about it. Seems normal to me. Also a 10 month old may still have his puppy coat.
