Which Direction?

Which Direction?
I'm confused - but then I think I was born in the state of Confusion.
When grooming - should I brush from the "tailfeathers" towards the neck or from the neck towards to "tailfeathers"?
The groomer I had for my beloved Chloe told me one direction and the groomer I now have for Whitby has told me the opposite.

Re: Which Direction?
I use both directions
in the beginning i focus on the mane, then going to the back. In order to get as much dead hair as possible i groom from tail to neck, then to finish i put everything in order by brushing neck to tail
confusing

Re: Which Direction?
I brush both directions. I have found it takes a little of each direction to straighten the fur out.
Re: Which Direction?
I do both as well, for the fur extraction and then opposite for the fluff effect, hey no one mentioned the fluff effect! Lol
I brush mane fwd then back towards neck then smooth back towards tail, the tail I always brush it towards their heads for the fluffy tail that looks like a duster
