Snorting and Boogers...

For the past week or so our boy Jack seems to be snorting heavily lately. He will be going to the vet early next week but I'd like to know if anyone else has seen this problem or has heard of it. Seems uncomfortable and about 5 minutes ago I seen some pretty nasty boogers hanging from his nose in which I wiped off, then 2 minutes ago I caught him licking them off. Any information would be appreciated

It sounds like it could be allergies (environmental this time of year, or even from a flea bite), or maybe a respiratory infection.

Hope Jack feels better soon!

To be honest with you, I've had many dogs but never did see one have allergies. It could be of course but these are some very thick, sticky and gooey snot-sausage.

Our Mika has many allergies and she always has a runny nose - especially when we are in the country air!
