My three year old dog has kidney disease and he is not allowed to have a lot of protein in his diet. I feed him the kidney disease food, and sometimes switch it up with a rice/beef/bread meal.
Do you guys have any experience with your doggies having kidney disease? Also I would love to get some recipes from you guys, because my dog is starting to get sick of rice

A high protein diet is exactly what you want to avoid when feeding a dog with kidney disease. Check with your vet to get specifics on these amounts. You can use Hill's Science Diet Prescription KD, it comes in canned and dry. As I'm sure you've already discussed with your vet, water intake is also going to be key in managing chows condition.
