Change of Hair/Fur Color

i juts recently noticed that there are portions of Kuma's fur that's beginning to turn black from the normal fawn. is it normal for it to change? he's only turning 7 mos. so im not sure if it's part of his growing up. also, some patches of his skin is turning darker. that's what im actually more concerned of. he's has mites since he was a pup and even with monthly frontline they dont really disappear. although his scratching has lessened tremendously from when he was younger.
