how big is your chow's teeth?

my chow is 1 year now.
but her teeth seems very small....
no problem with eating and chewing but
are they supposed to be this small??
are they still growing??

Assuming she lost all her baby teeth well before now, they are the size they are going to be.

How big do you expect them to be? how did you arrived on the conclusion that they seemed small for dogs? Chows are medium built.

Most chows have fairly large teeth as compared to other medium sized dogs. They have what is called scissor bites normally. However it is sometimes hard to see the full size of their teeth, because of the shape of their mouths, unlike GSDs or other pointed muzzled breeds where the lips are thin and therefore the teeth easily visible. To see the true size of a chows teeth you have to open their mouths and actually lift their lips. You can google chow chow teeth on line and get some good pictures.

Loo has big ol' vampire teeth! Is it possible that you mean your Chows' front teeth? I think those are supposed to be small. Loo's certainly are! Just tiny little white things and then giant fangs on each side! :-)
