Eyelid swelling,red and itchy

Hi all, I have a chow chow called china,she is 3 yrs old,she has a swollen eyelid,it's red,and she's itching and rubbing it,I have gave her benadyl as its happened before and this method worked,I've been on google and frightened the life out of myself with all the different things including tumours
But it goes down the next day,it's just awful seeing her rub her face on the doorframe and along the settee obviously it's irritating her,I live in the uk so don't think it's mozzies,
Any advice would be very much appreciated thanks

Sounds like a bug bite to me. Have you spoken to the vet about it?

Think it was a bug bite,it's gone now,is there anything I can buy for mosquito control,does anyone know?
Benadyl is ace

I'm not sure if there is a mosquito repellent for dogs? And benedryl was my best friend with Tippsy's allergies (fleas and seasonal).
