Do not forget their teeth

My new addition Miss Abby turned out to be a dental rescue. Abby last week had twelve teeth removed that were beyond saving. A few were puppy teeth that should have been removed years ago. This kind of dental disease can lead to more serious health issues from bacteria that can get into the blood stream and affect other organs. Her blood test showed no problems in organ function for now. My male Chow needs dental cleanings every other year, but with his old age I will look into one of oral tartar gels now available.
