I'd call my vet and ask if she can come in earlier. She has a bladder infection. I'm stating that because all the signs you've been telling us about her; excessive drinking, excessive needing to urninate, and now this uncontrolable need to urninate point very strongly to a bladder infection. This could turn into a kidney infection if not treated asap. A kidney infection is serious especially for a little puppy. Forget getting a urine sample, call the vet and take her in NOW, with the way she's going they'll get a urine sample there.

When you suspect something is wrong take your dog to a qualified Veterinarian, NOW :!:

Lola could have eaten something that is making her sick, VERY SICK .

Lola's behavior as you describe has changed and she is doing things that are not Chow like, she is telling you by her actions that she needs help.

The Forums on Heath, Training, Nutrition, Grooming, etc. are there to guide us so we can make a decision by comparing our dogs behavior, condition and situation with others and then take the appropriate action. :-?

Parvo Virus produces similar reactions. Lola lives in a small house. There are a number of other cats and dogs? Lola shares a water dish and sometimes the other animals food. Viruses travel through the air and from contact with those infected. Puppy vaccinations can prevent a lot of problems.

Please Tania, get little Lola to the vet - pronto! Urinary tract infections are nasty and can make a little girl feel rotton. Maisie was very poorly soon after she arrived with us at 5 months old and she would just get up from lying down and then stoop immediately and spend a penny and she drank water like it was going out of fashion. It took a couple of courses of anti biotics to sort her out. Horrid whilst it was happening. :)

Just posted reply but not loaded so if 2 replys pop up your know why

Lola been drinking and weeing loads since the day I brought her home so don't think she got from my cats/dog as my cats are indoor and injected and my dog is injected too

But we were suppose to off been in our new home by now but it got delayed as your see in a earlier post as I was worried about taking her out on the green to do her business as other people's dogs use that too

I did tell my vet when she had first inj but she didn't seem that worried said watch water consumption but I ring tomorrow and make a appointment for tomorrow too and I let u know how I get on

If I can't get a urine sample will vet get one and would I have to leave her overnight x

As Victory said, let the Veterinarian take the urine(Pee) sample. Sorry for my all my guessing about injections or sickness from other pets in house but my talk did bring out some more details from
you.
It is easy to mistake one action (lots of water going in/out) for normal action when something is new to us.
You have been caring and cautious with Lola, if only everyone was that way with their pets.
If Judy Fox's Chow recovered so can Lola; Puppies are strong. My Zoey went through a lot when she was very young and that was ten years ago. O:) [-o|

Overnight stay will be Vets decision. Overnight for my Chows has only been for recovery from serious operation.

Thanks for the advice and I really appreciate it hence y I post so much on here - I have made a appointment this evening and have to take a urine sample with me I let you know what happens once I been x

Yes I love my animal soooo much and would rather go hungry then them I prob worry too much about my animals at time but that is just me as I guess you are all like that to :)

I always had cats/ dogs but never a chow and I just want to bring her up the best I can

One thing I noticed when I am out with her ( I carry her) as not had second inj people want to stroke and think she a little teddy bear and ask what breed and when I say chow there attitude kinda changes and goes ohh like they don't like her I didn't know there rep was that bad esp in uk

I don't think Chow Chows have a bad reputation in the UK. I have never experienced this. Over The Pond there is a problem but not here.
When Lola has had all her injections it might be a good idea to take her to places where people are in order to socialise her as Chow Chows can be very aloof. I used to take our into town and people especially families with children would want to pet her and talk to them. They got used to people and are very sociable girls - well as well as a chow chow can be.

Well done Tania. You will have to give her a little time now for the antibiotic to take effect - it won't be long but meantime, just put lots of paper down. I think you will find her appetite will regulate when she is feeling better. Poor little love - she will be ok soon. :)

Lola is not well. She is a poorly little chowling. It will take a little while for the antibiotics to work so you will just have to be patient. Put lots of paper down down and love her. It will get better then you can start with her house training again. Just watch her carefully and if this time next week she is not properly better take her back to the vet - she might need a second lot of antibiotics.
Meantime just be patient - these infections are very painful. :)
