eye green discharge

hi everyone,
i got my puppy chow chow who is now 4 months old....For the past 3 days, he has lots of green discharge from his eyes...especially his left eye. I dont know if it's because its a simple infection....or is it possible he got scratched by another dog when i brought him to the dog park? (read it online, might be a possibility)....I would like to know if anyone's puppy or even adult dog had this and what to do? Thank you so much in advance....btw, just created this account. Green discharge from an eye would make me take Pong to the vet. It sounds like an infection that will need treatment or may turn into an ulcer, or even damage his vision. Let us know how he does!

hi,
thanx for your replies....didnt sleep well for 2 days, was too worried about Pong's eyes. Finally decided to bring him to see the vet as suggested, and was told its only a conjunctivitis. Was prescribed some ointment....was told should be fine within a week
