How far will you travel? Pacifica Pet is really good: http://www.pacificapet.com It is right off the coast highway near Rockaway Beach. Who do you go to now?

If you don't mind driving Redwood Veternary in Vallejo is Chow worthy and good, I lived in SF and took my Chow to them I think it was like a 30,35 mile drive from SF I think your further. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my Chow Plus they are AAHA members. I will only go to AAHA vet hospitols.

Which vet at the Pacifica Hospital would you suggest? I dont know which vet my boss takes his chow to but the vet is not good. I hope someone on this forum can recommend a REALLY good Chow vet to me. Thanks!

There are only three and all are REALLY good. I take my fosters to Pacifica Pet. Go on the site and click on the vet info and their bio is there. The staff are really wonderful too. My chows go to a different vet north of Pacifica. Not fancy whatsoever, just a family practice. They are very good to me and my chows and treat us like family. So I stay with them because of that. Our dogs and chows have been with them since the '70's. Then there are good vets in the San Jose area and in the city (SF) itself if he wants to travel a ways. Please ask your boss which vet he takes his chow to.
