Any healthy biscuits out there?

Post by chowfrnd88 »

We usually give Special a treat after dinner and I'm making a huge effort to stamp out all of his even slightly unhelathy treats, so I was wondering are there any healthy dog biscuity type treats out there? We're looking for something with no corn, no wheat, etc.

What we have noticed is that most treats without corn or wheat have a some sort of flour. I'm assuming flour is probably just as bad as corn and wheat?

Maybe there are no biscuity type treats out there that are healthy?

Special, when I get back to the States, I'll bake you a batch of my "special" no grain, no fat, no bad stuff cookies.

Aw, Special would love to have some of your "special" cookies. :D

Thanks for the recommendation Kiwani, I'll grab some of those next time I'm at the pet food store.

Same store we buy Evo from also has some Mother Nature and Old Mother Hubbard but they do both have wheat flour. Ours like them and they get the evo treats too. All seem to be pretty good for them. Haven't had any allergic reactions and Shandi is allergic to almost everything I think.
