lost appetite

Hello everyone,

I am from Philippines I have a female 8 1/2 months female chow..but lately she is lost her appetite :( she is still lively and but she loosing her weight, i tried to give her from kibbles to cooked chicken or beef but she just smell and walk away, her vet gave her vitamins but still the same..please anybody here give me some suggestion ...thank you..

You need to see a Vet !!! This can have a lot of reasons, but if loosing weight already occuring then it is high time to see a veteraniran. Blood test will give an answer. Does she at least drink normal and pee normal ?

Temporary loss of appetite for a day or two in dogs is nothing to be alarmed at. However, prolonged appetite loss is usually caused by some underlying health problems.

My dog usually losses apetite in the summer when it's hot. In the winter he's hungry all the time.
