Nutro Desserts

Postby fillyok » Sat Jul 29, 2006 2:31 pm

A couple weeks ago the Nutro lady gave me a couple coupons for the new little dessert cans that Nutro has come out with. I think it was a $1 off 4 cans...anyway, I bought some at Petsmart and Petco (cheaper at Petsmart) and my two LOVE them. They have 4 flavors (berry cobbler, carrot cake, pumpkin, and I forgot the last one). I split a can between Ping and Bear and it doesn't last but a few minutes.
Just thought I'd pass along another good Nutro product review...two paws up.

I was at PetFoodExpress today (Lou, getting Pnutz!!), they had coupons for that item too, though said they weren't out yet...Hmmm...Maybe hogging them all for themselves????. :P :P Sales person said they'd personally sampled them before and were very impressed with the ingredients and flavors! Can't wait to get some for us (oops, I mean Kodi) soon!

I rushed down to PetSmart to get some also but they didn't have any, must be really new. If they are that new think I will wait awhile.

Another Nutro lady told me that one Petsmart (closer to where I live) didn't have them yet, but the one we were at had them. So if you have more than one store where you live, you might try another location.
I'll admit, the carrot cake did smell tempting.

My sister sent me this joke, so I thought I'd attach it to a food related post. If you offend easily, stop reading now...

Chip used to have a Labrador retriever & was buying a large bag of Purina at
Wal-Mart, waiting in the check-out line. A woman behind me asked if I had a
dog. On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Purina Diet again,
although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last
time. But, I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward
with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it
works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one
or two every time you feel hungry, as the food is nutritionally complete.
So, I was going to try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now
enthralled with my story, especially a tall heavy man behind her.
Horrified, she asked if I'd been poisoned. I told her no; I'd been sitting
in the street licking my balls and a car hit me.

The tall guy nearly had to stagger out of the store, oxygen-depleted from
laughter. I paid for the food and left a lot of smiles behind me.
