Summer DIet

Post by Hugo »

Hi
Just wandering if in Summer (Queensland, Australia) when it's very humid and hot and I'm not exercising Hugo nearly as much as when it's a pleasant tempt, should I only feed him 1 cup of dry instead of 2? Then when normal tempt and activity resumes go back to his usual.
Thanks
Michelle

My two are fed twice a day. I am using Iams lamb and rice. Ursa (female 45 lb, 20kg) gets one cup (250mls). and Malachi (male 75 lbs, 34kg) gets 1 1/4 cup (300mls). We keep an eye on their weight. Our weather is warm and humid. Right now, it is probably 80% RH and 60 deg F (15 C) It is a little warm this winter, but that is typical for the humidity. Summer humidity can be higher with the temps probably averaging 90F 32C.
