what's for dinner?
To follow up with a question about our dog's diet. Our dog's hair loss, we think, is contributed to her eating our cat's dry food and our food scraps.
We are curious what would be the recommended dry or wet dog food to feed our dog Omega to get her hair to grow back. Her skin is looking terrible.
Thanks.

I would suggest a premium grade omega-3 based formula, either a salmon meal protein source or a free-range low fat source like venison, bison, etc, including some whole grains high in B vitamins, (brown rice, oats, millet), and also supplemented with sea greens such as kelp and algae for healing. Since the B-complex are so important for skin health, hair growth, immune function, etc., I would probably also supplement the diet with those vitamins for now.
Avoid fatty meats, processed junk treats made with by-product lards, by-product flours/glutens/grain fragment ingredients such as corn and wheat, inflammatory type fats such as peanut butter, omega-6 vegetable oils, etc...basically super-market brands of by-product based dog food.
