i have 3 cats and my chow who is about 14 yrs. i've had her since she was 5 weeks. i buy the very best food i can but she always eats the cat food too. she is 40lbs has been for about 5 yrs not going up or down.she runs and plays like a pup. her only problems are her eye and hearing. she had an eye ulcer and seems to be a little hard of hearing. she is a wonderful loving dog with a very sweet personality.is it normal for her to eat the cat food? itry to keep it away but she's fast

Please don't let your dog eat catfood.
It is far too high in Ash and other ingredients for any dog.
Ultimately this could make your dog quite sick, with serious ilness, such as pancreatitis.

Definitely keep the cat food away from your Chow! We frequently let our girl have a few tidbits and she ended up having a horrible, horrible UTI. She had to be put on a special diet and medication for almost a year.
