How pretty. They are gorgeous! Ginger does the standing over max thing too. Although she's gotten big enough that she can do it whether he's laying down or standing up.
Let's see, We got our first "sticky" snow last weekend. Leo loves the snow and will stay out for hours. Lacey is more of an indoor chow and sometimes we have to boot her little hinney out the door.
Lacey is now 4 months old.
No, I don't do anything special for their feet. I remember last year looking out and seeing Leo holding his back paw up and not putting weight on it. I brought him inside and he was almost fine immediately, so I think it was just some snow between his toes. That was the only time I have ever seen snow bother him.
leo does have really nice markings - but sure looks like a chow. Ah, snow! I would've loved snow except the really freezing weather that goes along with it (bad for my health)

?? Leo IS a chow. Did you think he was something else?
We actually had rain today! Rain in Alaska in November? Unheard of. Mother Nature sure is having fun with us, isn't she? The chows don't care though. It is still cool enough for them. It is hard to get Leo in the house!
Yes, I knew he is a chow (from the posts and the photos). Sorry if I didn't make that clear (Filipino thoughts translating into English words) - what I meant was he has lovely markings which I have never seen yet on a chow.
They look like they were having fun. I want to come over and play. In the snow. Darn it snowed here in Germany before I got here and as soon as we showed up it has been nice or cold, but no snow Your pups are very beautiful, but you know that. Shoot you know how rare your Leos markings are...he truly is one of a kind.
