New Chow girl
Hi, just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the interesting articles. Millie is nearly 5 months old and has some problems with her right eye. Apart from that she's fantastic. Mind you,I could be bias In the first picture she is sitting on her own crate (climbed on from the sofa whilst I had my back turned for 5 seconds! The middle on is for those who like 'chow butt' !

What a beautiful little girl!! Welcome both to the forum.
"It's best felt when she's on leash & trying to catch a pigeon"
LOL! I totally understand that! Jazz is over 40 lb now and a handfull -- pigeons, cats, squirrels, birds, I look like the cartoon character that gets yoinked off stage, feet flying as the leash pulls me over

welcome layla, she is gorgeous. what a face(and butt, chris, lol) very photogenic.
i know what you mesn about the leash. they are like little tanks. they dont look heavy, but when you are on the other end of the leash, look out. have you tried a harness for her??? i find it to be more comfy for them, ao if they do pull they dont choke themselves. try snd get it under control while she is young.
enjoy her, lots of luck. we like pictures!!

Thanks guys, I've tried a harness but she hated it! Funnily when I went back to her collar she was a lot better. In general, she trots right by my side. It's just pigeons, squirrels & leaves that she wants to chase that send her loopy
Hi, Breathless, the water you can see is Puget Sound & it is lovely. The Balcony is one of Millie's fav hangouts.
We are very close to you Mishka, in fact we go to the OLA at Merrymoor park a lot.

Yes they are little boots. We got them as she's scratched her cornea and had an e-collar on. Trouble was, her legs were so little that she couldn't walk with it on A friend recommended trying the boots to stop her pawing at her eye so we could remove the collar. It was pretty successful, she didn't like them a huge amount but better than the e-collar. They were great until she figured out how to undo the velcro, to smart for her own good this chow
Thank you Elodie!
