Ava hordes her Toys

Post by crazy4chows »

This is her nightly ritual...she gathers all of her toys, places them in a sort of circle, and then lies down in the middle of it and chews on/plays with each toy individually. It makes us laugh every time we see it!

She does lover her toys. That was a big change for us considering Maximus hasn't touched any of his toys since he was 1 year old. She cracks us up with her toys. Her favorite thing to do is to drag one of her toys to the top of the stairs, toss it down, and then chase it all the way to the bottom. At 4 am I hear " thud thud thud" as she tears down the stairs, lol. :laughloud:

Oh my gosh. I have never seen anything like that in all my doggie years. That is a perfect circle. The only thing I can think of that even comes close is a cat I once had who used to chase popcorn and then eat it. I would hear him under the coffee table, "Crunch, crunch, crunch." And he used to chase wadded up paper and once I saw that he had sorted them into two color groups! I thought I was losing my mind.
Where's my chow chow?

I've never heard anything like this - You should get it on video - I'll bet she's an "old soul". O:)

She starts at about 6pm when we get home from work and let her in to the living room. I would say she has all of the toys out here within a few minutes. She usually plays with them for maybe an hour or so before she comes and lays down by where we're sitting. She's a goof ball. Then she will follow me back and forth as I put the toys back in to her basket at the end of the night. I think she's making sure that I don't steal any of them, lol.
