What lovely photos, if only the whole world could see them, then maybe they wont be so quick as to give the Chow a bad name.

I love this thread. Here's my ferocious Echo waiting to pounce on my granddaughter Saige. I think she's really ready to pounce on that teething ring that's sitting there.

my 6 month old chow loves kids! that was my only concern on the breed was kids and my little girl follows my nephew and nieces around like they are her children, she runs and plays with them and is super gentle, the only thing i have to watch is they are both at the same level (her being a medium sized dog, children being 4 years old) so she thinks that she should get a lick of anything tasty in their hands, other than that i'd say their wonderful!

Just before I took this picture Jasper (the pup) was sitting in front of Lily (the chow), and Alfie (my son) was sitting on top of Lily. I just wish I had got my camera out in time. Lily really is the most tolerant dog I have EVER met. Alfie climbs all over her, pulls her about, jumps on her... And she never even turns her head or growls etc. She is an incredible dog. It makes me wonder how chows get their bad name

Our 4 month old "James " human with Winston (3 years). Winston is great and always tries to help, protect and just be near him when he cries. When James was younger Winston would even vomit from the stress of him crying. He is such a good chow.
