Maryland Chow Chow Rescue has posted some Chow videos on their site at http://chowrescuedogs.org/videos/

These chows look like they were pulled from shelters, and are so much happier than they must have been. They have videos of toy playing, zoomies, eating snow, etc.

Well, I now know that the spinning in circles when playing, pouncing on toys like a cat, huffing and snorting when playing and snapping at snowflakes are breed traits and not just Tess being an incredibly strange dog. I've always wondered.

This is a very good way for this rescue to get the word out that Chows are actually wonderful, playful living teddy bears and not the horrible vicious monsters so many think they are. The one Chow looks just like my Chuy and I could swear I was watching him running and playing as I was watching that.
