Oh man! Look at those little squishy faces!! I want to hug them. :D I LOVE the first picture, how did you get them both to still like that?!?! That's awesome!

I am sooo glad that Cay's reunion with her daddy went so well, it brought tears to my eyes hearing how happy was. I can't wait to see those pics too!

Thanks chris

thank goodness they let me hug them. They are just way to cute to not hug everyday.

Cayenne got weighed in at the vet again today... still a little overweight. Ach. Guess we need to walk even more! She only needs to loose about 4 lbs. She is 59 now... chewie was 62 and is svelt...

They are both great about pictures. they actually sat like that all by themselves. I just put their leashes on, walked in to get the camera, and there they were. In the second one, I just called Chewies name, he looked over, and I snapped the shot.

I have to take a picture of drew doing "the squishy face" on Cay. You think her face is squishy above....

Glad to see the kids made the trip with no problems. They are both so handsome. I would be shocked at there size. Every time I run into a chow with Lil in tow, I can see how small she really is. Do you like the new vet?

They are so cute!

Did you have any trouble finding a rental that would take them?

Very good series of photos. The first catches my eye and is my favorite. One chow overlooking the beautiful red in the foreground. Very good

Wow Thanks Chowdaddy! Quite the compliment coming from you! I looked at your photos on your lilis page and they are all so beautiful!
The first one is my favorite too.

Yvonne
We were actually lucky in that my husband works at the college and we were able to get a rental home from them and just had to pay a small fee for the pups.

Curious neighbors come by the house all the time to see the "lions."

One little boy rode by on his bike staring yesterday and today came by with 2 friends, pointed and said "see... I told you!!" to his friends. SO cute. They came over and pet them... Chewie walked right up - Cay gave them her look and them plopped down for them to pet her.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I love love love them too! they are my sweet little monkeys.

Reunited 'cause we understood
There's one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it

Cause we're reunited...'

Oh Auddymay - forgot to respond to your question! We all loved the vet. The woman that we saw was so wonderful with them. No one in the office walked up and tried to pet them. They all crouched down and put out the top of their hand for sniffs. No one really went to pet until I said they were fine (which was right away) but nice to know they weren't even going to try unless they knew for sure. The vet did the whole appt in the room they brought me in and I help out with the check up. The only thing they took them back for was to weigh them, and shave around Cays hot spots. She is not happy about those by the way. But everything went really well and I was pleased. The appt was expensive after Cays shots, the hot spot stuff, 2 check ups etc but they are always worth it.
