Guarding camp

after I take a drink.. and give mom the butt.

Look what Mom brought for me while I keep watch over our camp at Mikey's racing.

Don't let the looks fool ya, just come on over hither little squirly... I got some treats for you..

All is well that ends well, my job is done here.

Mom says keep an eye out for some pics of Mikey racing soon.

I just realized... you can see that the bump on Steels eye lid (that I never got a picture of) is gone.. LOL..

I was also trying to capture him doing the "radar ear" thing... oh well.

Chris, I know I've said this numerous times, but Steel is absolutely STUNNING. His coloring is gorgeous & he photographs so well. He should be a doggy model.
Gorman is a blue, but not like Steel. Sometimes he looks black, sometimes he looks blue. My husbands looks forward to photos of Steel. I too luv the photo of his tonge hanging off to the side, all in a days work.

How did Mikey do?

BTW: I'm sure Jeff will make a comment about Steel promoting his Nutro treats..ha1ha!

actualy, Steel usualy wont stay still, I have to take 50 pictures with rappid action to get 1 good one. LOL...

Lets see... Friday night Mikey took 8th, Saturday night he took 4th, and Sunday he took 14th I think... he was tired and he fell. It's tough on a 7 year old to race 3 days in a row. Poor little guy... but he loves it. thanks for asking and for the compliments 3blackchows.

Oh, I have to say... my other chows were black, and they had red highlights ... oh wait.. I think thats in another thread.. LMAO sorry.

Wow, Mikey has some endurance & a luv for the sport.
I luv watching them go around the corners it's so neat how they get down low.

Steel looks like such a natural in front of the camera.
My first boy chow, Hardy, was a camera hog. If he saw you get the camera or video camera, he made sure he was in view. I remember trying to take photos of my niece when she started walking & Hardy would get in front of her & sit down & look up at the camera. What a hambone he was.

Isn't Steels bday this month? Gorman will be 1 yr old on Sept 29th.

Steel, Rabbits are a better value than those tree rats. Buns can't climb trees. It is best if you sneak up on them before running at them full-bore, cause they are fast! You are a very handsome chow. Mum says when all those other chow gals are through with you (I hear that Pekoe's favorite phrase is, 'Cut off their heads!'...I'm just saying...) you can come see me and we will go and run free at the grade school. Well, there's a fence, but it is a very big area! When we are done running, we will have a long cool drink of fresh water, cause your tongue will definitely be a hanging out when I am done with you! You are very handsome in your photos...have you tried to get on the Express ferry yet? Two hours, and we could be together...

Black on black with those eyes would make a helluva profile portrait. Beautiful
