Newest Texas Chow

Looking at these pictures of Lucky taken approx. the 1st of September amaze me. Floppy ears! BOTH of his ears are standing straight up now! I finished up a roll of him last night so I will have some new ones to post on here soon! Also, his tongue has turned all black except for a thin line down each side. I don't remember with Sugar, that was so long ago!
When I first got Lucky, Fillok and I both had noticed he was scratching at his belly often. I bathed him with baby bath and it helped considerably. Then, one night I bathed him with some expensive shampoo I buy for myself at the salon and he has completely stopped the scratching!!

I've been thinking about you and Lucky lately. I'm so glad to hear he's doing well. I thought he was turning less puppy looking and more Chow looking even in that short time I had him.
I can't wait to see the pics! Did you get your scanner fixed or are you getting them put on CD?
Take a look on the community forum for Samantha's arrival - my new Chow arrived Friday night. Everything worked out perfectly and Lucky helped Bear and Ping adjust to new furkids in the house.
For Koda, Lucky was my temporary fosterChow recently. I took him in rather than let him go to a shelter. Chowlover (Joyce) adopted him forever. Another happy ending on here...

thanks fillyok, I didn't even think of getting the photos on cd (no, my scanner still isn't fixed). I wonder if I can still do that!?! Then I could get Lucky's pictures on here! You got Samantha already??? I can't wait to see her. You are outnumbered by chows!

I want more!!
Guess what?! This morning I had some snacks in my hand for Lucky and he can already sit for a snack and stand. So, this morning I wanted to teach him something else. I thought we would start working on "speak". Well he is a pro a this! It is so cute. When he sees me with the snacks, he is like "what's she want? what's she want?" He sits perfect, "no that's not it" , then he stands, "hmm" he thinks. "Oh, I've got it!", then he speaks. He is just adorable.
I got him on the 9th, so in just 2 weeks, he has changed and grown so much! I am trying to enjoy the puppy because he grows so fast and I am trying to notice all the changes and get pictures all along the way! Those ears just amazed me tho, that was fast!!

I found out Lucky's birth date from Texasgulfcoast. It is June 27.

GET OUT.. That is Laurissa's birthday as well as her puppy Roxy's.. how cool..
