I haven't seen many smooth chows and never a blue one. He looks great and please tell us more about him.

His bloodlines are from Rossy in Hungary and Shanghai in Florida. Alas he is the last of the line. The breeder could not find a female to match him. Needless to say he has all the wonderful traits of the Chow. Yes, even the stubborness. Right now he weighs in at 80 pounds and that will be his maximum for his build. Regardless of what he says. I live alone on an acre of land and grow roses ( I am a Rosarian). I have even caught him eating them. He gets along okay with the two cats but they simply tolerate him. His disposition is very laid back but I find he is more active than many Chows I know. His mother spent a lot of her time chasing squirrels and he can really take off when we walk on the football field. I am hoping he will calm down a little, but he is now three years old.

What a handsome lad! Chang probably misheard the saying to stop and smell the roses, and thought he heard stop and EAT the roses!

Beautiful dog...Our male chow is more laid back our female is a pistol,..lol...But our male can move when he needs to..He is a BIG over a 100 lb chow...stands over 25 inches at the shoulders...he has 2 Airedale brothers...his chow sister and a collie brother so there very active in the yard keeps them young..oh yeah and 6 cats too which he doesn't mind at all..in my Sig is our boy Kodi...
