Chows We Love Volume 2
In deference to my dial-upfriends, I won't put too many layouts on one post. Let me know if there is a certain number I should put on one posting before it's too hard to see due to the wait time.

I usually do my Layouts in hard copy, using acid free papers with my photos. I have been doing part digital all along- like printing the title onto vellum and transparency. The digital variety is fairly new to my repetoire. Snapfish will do 12x12 pages of the digitals for 8 bucks a pop. A little stiff, when you can do it with real paper for about a dollar a page.

That's Lily, and she is standing on a coffee table that was intended for plants. We have a screened front porch and that's where she is. I live in a dutch colonial house, built in the lat 1800's. My next husband is going to be a sugar daddy so I can fully restore it. Anyway, I was just thinking earlier today how Lily has really calmed down in her rabbit spazz ritual at sunset. In spring, I had to follow her around the house, blocking look-out points. Her hunt-cry/bark could raise Cain.
We are truely village people...the village of Cloverville! We are in nearly the center of 'town'. The only house more centralized was torn down for a Dollar General. It is a real challenge, even though we sit on a full acre, there is alot of activity within eye site. Lily is a little more vocal than most Chows because of it. At least she doesn't take umbridge at the clerks at Family Dollar she sees taking a smoke break on the side of their store like she used to do. They are 2 businesses and and cross road away!
Photos and layouts are great. I have a Lili too btw, just spelled different. Could you be more specific about what you do with the photos again? Are you turning them into books? Or just getting prints made. I've looked into picture books under several publishers checking them out.

Have owned 3 chows for the last 30 years. Have a 3 year old cream smooth now. Enjoy hearing, meeting, and sharing photos of others with this breed.
I am not publishing or anything like that. These were done just to honor the Chows we love. I don't post them publicly without consent of the owner. I am guilty of doing the work first, and then asking permission.
There are many here I haven't done yet. Some I am not able to do, because of no available photos, or quality problems of the ones available. That's why I urged anyone wanting theirs done, to email, or IM me their photos. It's nice to showcase photos not seen here everyday, and ones that are special to their masters.
As to what I do to the actual photos- I have been known to sharpen photos, and cut out undesirable elements. I once put myself in a Niagara Falls photo. I had been at that spot the night before, but in the photo, the falls were lost in the dark. My photo was good, so I put it in a scenic shot. My husband accused me of making false memories! He is so last century...
I remember your beautiful Lili in the rain photo. A real stunner.
