The cute little puppy is becoming a cute Chow girl

I have been enjoying the photos of Simba and Nala as they grow and become bonded Chow buddies.
Nala reminds me of my late Kamie; always showing affection for her Chow boy.

A few hours after the pictures I had to rush Nala to the Vet. We just came back, diagnosis: UTI. it is her turn with antibiotics and other medicines. But now she is sleeping, poor little fellow.
I took Simba along, he gained nearly 6 pounds in the last weeks and reached now the 40 pound level, looks his growth got a second wind. He is now 100% okay.

Sorry to hear she has had a UTI. Thankfully it sounds like you caught it early so hopefully it will be all cleared up soon.

I love them both, they're so easy to be with. I'm just worried about Nala as she is also vomiting not only peeing every few minutes. Hope I got the right diagnosis. There is some blood in the urin due to cyrstals already formed in the kidneys. So I didn't catch it right away. This morning she was still her old self, nothing wrong. Suddenly in the afternoon she started peeing more or less consistently and soon after she vomited the first time.

She is . The medication is working perfectly. tonight things look already pretty normal, Just have to adjust her water intake by adding water to her dry food.
Ascorbic acid took care of the crystals and antibiotics are fighting the bacterias. So end of next week I'm expecting a clean bill of health again for her.
