Ursa & Malachi in the back yard

Post by Ursa's daddy »

The shot is one I took for Cherrimater and posted on facebook. She had this picture of "white stuff" that had landed on her fence, so I had to show that I had white stuff falling too.

Judy, Unposed hahahahaha...That was about 15 minutes of taking shot after shot. I told Ursa to lay down, and she just flopped down on her side and was out. The first shot looked like I had a dead dog. Malachi would get up every time I would shake the bush to make petals fall. In this shot, I had just given each of them a treat, and they were sniffing to see if there were any crumbs. For the curious, the shrub is a camellia sasanqua, one of several I have along with a number of camellia japonica. The japonica will bloom in about a month. I'll bet Ursa would look cute there with the Pink Perfection blooms.

Oh my goodness - it just looks unposed!
I have some lovely pictures of my old girls Milly and Mabel that were totally unposed and some of these two Matilda and Maisie.
Still a beautiful picture of them. :D

You can't really pose them. You just put them in the location and keep taking pictures until you get one that is suitable. That is where digital cameras are so good. You can just shoot as fast as possible, pick the ones that are good and edit them.
