Both are still growing.
Simba became a very healthy young man. Skin and blood are perfectly okay now

Very beautiful. And yes, Nala now has that "I'm intent on my business" chow expression.

My quick typing made Sima out of Simba. Hope he will forgive me :-)
I'm so happy with these two \:D/. They're very sweet in the morning when they wake up, cuddling and licking their ears. After the morning toilet and grooming they play catch, then they eat. I had to give up serving two meals, they want to share one bowl :D
So both are now on Holistic for Puppies, no issue. Then they sleep and the cycle repeats until we go to bed.
Weekends we go out, even the Vet visit is an welcome excourse and mastered by them with dignity. No barking at other dogs, Simba loves to jump on the weighing scale and get his weight taken. Sometimes three times during one visit :D . Then he knows his cubicle for examination. We hang out at our restaurant and they let other guests admire them, but not too close and no touch please, we're Chows !
Sounds to good to be true ? I know, but I can't report anything else.
They don't quarrel with the other dogs or our household helpers, they don't dig, they don't chew on stuff.
Okay, okay Nala needs some correction here and there when it comes to chewing  But replacement toys are always accepted, so I can give lot's of affection to this guys and less correction.
Love Chows, I can't be thankful enough that I found this breed and I like the online community here very much.
Chow owner are very responsible open minded people.

It has been very enjoyable reading about the exploits of Nala and Simba. So glad to hear Simba has returned to good health; Nala's licking probably helped. I think if they could have written the last line, it would say "Chows are very responsible and open minded Dogs". :o =D=

Actually wokman,
thinking of it, true that Chows are responsible and open minded
I guess that's why this special bond forms between them and their master. My other guys are very cute too and loyal and I love them all, but Nala and Simba are very different. More challenging and more rewarding at the same time.
Alone the fact that I spend time blogging about them and reading about nearly every other chow here in the forum shows how much they influence my life. But I wouldn't like to change it anymore \:D/
