My Jazz-Man

Post by Tippsy'smom »

I haven't wanted to take pics of Jazz since he was clipped a month ago... But I've noticed that his fur has grown back quiet a bit already, and took this pic of him yesterday, and that he was being too much of a ham not to share. Lol (when we clipped him, his fur was 8 inches at it's longest, and clipped it down to 3 inches. Now, it seems to be able 5 inches! And we left his tail alone)

Hi Jess,

He's a "looker". (beautiful & handsome) Love his fluffy tail. Took my Whitby to be groomed in May and they did a process called "carding" which basically gets rid of the dead undercoat fur. Her coat is growing back in but her tail isn't doing much. It was so big and fluffy but now it's somewhat on the scrawney side. Bummer

Thank y'all. :) I'm glad Jazz got his looks more from his chow parentage than he did from his lab side.

Jazz's tail usually gets on the scrawny side during the summer, but I'm glad thus far it's staying fluffy. And I do all grooming on my own. I don't trust anyone else to do it.

He looks good Jess. I have to get pictures of Firesong, she's growing her under coat back and she looks like she's got puppy fur on her sides and tummy, :D If I worry about winter by the way her coat is growing it's going to be a rough one!

Thanks Victory! :) He got a bath and a good brushing today and even though I'm STILL getting undercoat out of him, I can see that he's already getting a bunch back in! Dixie and Todd are getting a bunch of undercoat in too. I'm praying for a cold winter to make up for the warm one we had last year....
