Mia looks like an Elvis impersonator in the third pgoto, with her lip tucked up (thank you, thank you very much)...lol. Both have a very impressive winter coat. Very nice photos.

They are both so beautiful! Mia has beautiful brown eyes behind those viscous teeth.
Their coats are gorgeous. Do you use anything special on Mia's black coat? My Mailie has so much red around her neck. I tried a black shampoo but it made her coat dry so I stopped using it.

I don't do anything with Mia's coat.
I was once at a dog show and was by the chow area watching some friends of mine show, and I remember seeing this amazing black chow - purest black coat I have ever seen. So, I asked the breeder/shower how she kept his coat so black and she said that she never lets him in the sun.
I was so saddened by that - I just thought how horrible that this poor beautiful black coated chow couldn't go out and enjoy the sun.

Mia and Chutters have a doggy door, so they can go anytime they want. Mia probably doesn't hang out in the sun too much because she gets hot easily. She's a big air-conditioning vent lounger.

Don't know what to say about the coat - but if you look carefully, you can see Mia has a little bronzing/red around the ruff.

They are beautiful. If my black chow "Bear" is in the sun a lot she gets a reddish tint in her main. She likes the cool concrete in the shade

My what big teeth you have Mia. Looks like a very happy smile, in a viscous sort of way. Both of your chowdren look great together. I wish I could get my Vixen to not look so serious. I don't think she likes her picture taken. Maybe I have to get someone to take some candid shots.

Chutters is 75 pounds and very lean. You can actually feel his rib cage.
I am trying to keep him trim because he has hip issues. I think he would rather be about 85 pounds.
At 75, I can't really pick him up. I pick up his front end and make his back legs walk, LOL!
