Few snapshots of Yogi last nite

Heres a few shots my wife took of Yogi last night off her black berry. Hes almost 8 and a half months now. I wonder if his Coat will ever get supper fluffy like all the chows on here?

Yogi might get a fuller coat as he gets older, but there are a few different type coats. If you google english coat chow chows you will see one is not quite as long but the mane fills out. One of the breeders on line shows the different colors and styles with pictures.. it might come up when you google that. I can't remember the name off hand.

Molly is around 4 now, and this year her coat is the fullest it's ever been. Maybe it takes time before the full coat grows in. Yogi is darling, no matter how fluffy his coat is!

I think they keep their soft puppy coats for at least a year before they get an adult coat (it has been almost 20 years since we had a puppy here). So you may not know how fluffy he is going to be until next winter.

He'll probably end up with a coat like my Dreamdancer, someone said, (I think it was Kiwani) that that curled tail goes with a shorter coat. I'll bet though that his coat is super thick, Dreamdancer's is, it's like really wonderful velvet, so think and soft.
