If you look at the Anniversary catagory, there is a sub forum called Chowfest. SF area has a grand affair- lotta Chows in the SF Bay area. Great times!

Here is a recent picture of Louie. He turned 19 weeks old on Saturday (born on Valentines Day) and weighs 36 pounds. He is definitely growing way too fast!

I think I am going to change Louie's name to Shadow.............he follows me everywhere! He could be snoring and if I get up to go to the bathroom he is right under my feet. When I cook dinner I have to dance around him in the kitchen. Yesterday he learned how to climb the stairs, he used to wait at the bottom for me. This morning he sat outside the shower, watched me blow dry my hair, barked at the "chow chow" looking back at him in the mirrored closets. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, but he is going to knock me down one of these days! This is new for me, none of my chows were like this. Mailie will only get up off her butt if I have food or the leash in my hand.

Coco Chow- I am touching Louie's ears right now they are very soft. His puppy coat feels like cotton balls, fuzzy soft.

Lightforce I hope he is not that big! I am thinking in the 70 pound range.

Your puppy is sooo cute!! I wihs mine were that little They grow up so fast. I have my doggies on solid gold food. It's been great they no longer itch. Their coats are really pretty. They just turn 1 year old but I think I'm going to keep them on puppy food for a while. They need the extra fat

My moose is now 5 & 1/2 months old now and weighs 43.8 pounds!

He is also starting to loose the black pigment in his nose already

It is Louie's half-birthday, he is 6 months old. My moose weighs 48 pounds now and is about 18in. at shoulder.

I don't know if I'm imagining this or not but it seems like the big chows (70 pounders) are usually cream colored (I'm also thinking of BUtters here). I wonder if there is a genetic corelation or if this is just a coincidence.

I thought at 70 pounds my guys were kind of big - but your babies are just huge - whatcha feeding them? LOL!

I don't think it relates to coloring. My Teddy is a shaded red and weighed in at 89lbs last week. (Of course, the vet said that is about 9 lbs too many. Poor Teddy is dieting, now).
