Genghis and Mika at the beach

This is my first time attempting a video link...lets hope it works. It's 2.5 minutes long, it was yesterday and I just had to get Mika's first swim of the year, we were at our favorite walk spot and someone was feeling a bit warm... and I took it with my blackberry so the quality may be a bit dodgy, oh well

I really thought Genghis was going in all the way with Mika? Very close it looks like.. little brother wants to keep up with big sis.. They look like they had a great day at the beach.. Nikki is like Genghis as soon as the wave comes near she backs up and throws her 2 front paws at the wave like shes going to stop it..

I cannot believe you have a head dunker! Pip does, but it is expected, since she has some Labrador; Lily would sooner die. I got some chuckles when your brave Genghis ran toward the water, then away when it ran back...lol. Remembrances of Lily and visiting Chows not used to moving water and waves...I was so proud when he finally said screw it and ran in with gusto. Very cute video.

Head dunker indeed, usually she only does it on hot days but this was her first swim of the year and I think she's gotten braver since last year. She's not actually going after anything in the water other than to cool her head, I wish I could train her to fish, lol. She'll dunk one side then the other and sometimes she does a full roll, she's quite methodical about the whole process its funny, she always has to have a little taste of salt water too, then she barfs about 15-20 minutes later...lovely little routine. Genghis suprized me bigtime when he ran in, it didn't even register at first then I thought he might be running scared from it but was just really excited, big boy that he is and all. I'll take shorter ones next time...

I was laughing out loud when I watched the vidio clip . They are doing well together. Mia is teaching Tyton about the water. He also forgets and goes running after her . Its so funny watching them and when Tyton realizes were he is.

I love it. They are having so much fun. Genghis is growing fast.
