Hello Guys and Gals!

I would like to introduce you to my latest addition of Grandis Chows (...my official kennel name and separate from my mom's Siberian Huskies )...

Kurttland's Teabear aka "Champ" and Kurttland's Teabearry aka "Crinkle"

Champ is on the left, Crinkle on the right..yes, my female is bigger than the male..for now

I'll tell you guys the story, before I had a chow named Chase from the same Kennel--Kurttland Kennel of Mr. Alvin Tan, his name was Kurtland's Silver Surfer aka Chase....Unfortunately, Chase died last year due to heart failure... :'( I was so depressed at that time and I told Alvin that I PROMISE I'd get a puppy from his next breeding...he said that it will be a long time for his next breeding due to some problems regarding his kennel assistant....anyway, it didn't take that long..now, a promise is a promise..i wanted a female since Sharmy is the only female i got...so I got Crinkle..but I told Alvin if I like what I see I get all the puppies...of course, who could resist puppies?! ::) Good thing there's only 2 of them....Born on November 12, 2008 by the same father of Chase..Shanghai's Final Scenario aka KC or is it Cassey (i dunno how its spelled though), this big guy is very dear to me..I love him even if he's not mine... and having his puppies is the closest i can get to him...

I am very fond of these two...Crinkle reminded me of Chase very much..she's the girl version of Chase. and I am happy to say that Sharmy is now acting like an adult when the pups are around ( of course, still feels like she's a pup when its just the 2 of us ), she watches over them, when someone enters my room, she guards them as if she's the mom...Foster Mommy ;D

Mommy Pam? Now there's three of us to share your bed? ??? Oh, okay...i guess I have to deal with it...


Mommy Pam bought me this ex-pen from Ninang (godmother in filipino) Tessa..(alcaraz ) I guess I have to give way again....


As for their names, Alvin gave them their registered names, I gave them the call names...Champ, why Champ? I wanted to be close to Chase still...so I thought of a name that start from a letter C, then I remembered Chow Chow Club's Christmas party, I won a dog bowl that had the words CHAMP on it...so there it was! Champ it is!



Crinkle... I love this sweet pup! that name just popped in my mind, then that was it! Crinkle stays close to Sharmy most of the time....Sharmy gives Crinkle some tips ;D

Yeh that's me! Tessa is just great with her Chows - they are so spoilt and obviously very very beautiful too!

@ Harrysmom, i hope their coat would be much more fluffier...i guess im hoping for the impossible since the weather here in Manila is sooo hot..

@ Auddymay, haha..maybe that's a dog's point of view hahaha...champ is the hyper one compared to his sister Crinkle.

The pups are adorable (brings back memories of mine)..It is so cute to see Sharmy being so good with them.. How old is Sharmy. Iam thinking I'd like another chow but Nikki (my dog) is now 2yrs and not sure if that is a good time to introduce a pup or not? She has alot of energy ... My older mix chow died 3wks after I got Nikki, unexpectly. So Nikki has been alittle spoiled here all by herself..

Sharmy will be turning 2 years old this coming August
I was quite surprised with her behavior, i thought she would be all jealous with the puppies
since she's the most spoiled dog i ever had...she's all pampered and princess-y. But good thing
she's okay with the puppies
