Lately Kearra & Kyra have been having lots of fun together outside and have been passing each other inside and playing with each other soooo I decided to let them play together tonight INSIDE for the first time. You can actually feel if they have issues and I know their body language these days

I'm not sure that I know the whole story - but do they normally not get along very well? The photos look great and they look like two very happy girls! They seem like they enjoy each other's company very much They're gorgeous Chow girls!

LOL Rowlee, well no.....Kyra's learned some bad habits from Lily the Boxer....one of those is drinking from the toilet I can't get her to STOP Its hysterical, Kearra would rather DIE OF THIRST first
Mally-Kearra & Kyra were BEST friends UNTIL puberty.....then all hell broke loose around here when I got Kearra (black) spayed and Kyra went into heat 2 wks later, ALOT of NASTY Chow fights, expensive Vet bills, Blood & fur flying etc After much patience, training & tears on my part(Much Thanks to Melanie for training ME), living totally separate for a while we have gotten to the point where they get along GREAT outside (which wasn't a BIG issue for them, but INSIDE was) until now. I will NEVER be able to totally let my guard down inside where they are concerned, I watch their body language and moods and still keep a gate between them inside MOST of the time. This is Progress and WONDERFUL to see after what they have been through

On on the toliet issue -- just keep the lid closed. That's what we do here. (Bonus is no more arguements about leaving the seat up)!

LOL Chow Fancier I would love to keep the lid closed BUT how do you train the dh to put it back down....can't even get him trained to put the seat back down for me

So good to see them being good girls!!
My two haven't discovered the toilet water bowl...yet. It was Kody's favorite water dish though. I tried keeping the lid down but someone always forgot! They like it because the water is cold. Yuck!

aww vicki that is awesome that they are getting along better. they are soooo beautiful. i had to look twice cause those two chowbutts by the water bowl looked exactly like my two furries.

Just told my DH that if the dogs drink out of the toliet bowl he has to brush their teeth everyday. Never left it open again!
