In Memory of Tucker
A Dog’s Soul
Author Unknown
Every dog must have a soul
Somewhere deep inside
Where all his hurts and grievances
Are buried with his pride.
Where he decides the good and bad,
The wrong way from the right,
And where his judgment carefully
Is hidden from our sight.
A dog must have a secret place
Where every thought abides,
A sort of close acquaintance that
He trusts in and confides.
And when accused unjustly for
Himself, he cannot speak,
Rebuked, he finds within his soul
The comfort he must seek.
He'll love, though he is unloved,
And he'll serve though badly used,
And one kind word will wipe away
The times when he's abused.
Although his heart may break in two
His love will still be whole,
Because God gave to every dog
An understanding soul.

He taught me patience and I didn't realize how much he touched my heart until he wasn't here any longer.
May he be playing with all of my other dogs that I've lost and may he be waiting patiently for Mommy, Daddy, and Brother to rejoin him.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Tucker. I didn't realise this happened so recently. I know the pain you are feeling, just been through this with our losing our Rowlee, that's why we had to get Wilbur as soon as possible, the void left by Rowlee's passing was so big. How is Holden going without Tucker?

It is hard, isn't it? They bring so much into our lives, their passing leaves a giant hole. You and Holden are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless and comfort you.
