Dear Candy: I am so sorry if I failed you in anyway. I know I was supposed to be your advocate. I would never had knowingly allowed for anyone or anything to hurt you. I was told you had heart worm. I never thought following the protocol for heartworm would kill you. I thought you were a healthy puppy. You were only one year and 7 months old but in the year and four months I had you, you stole my heart. I see you every time me and your brother go for a walk. We both miss you terribly. Everyone says that I gave you a great life for the time I had you, I wish it had been longer. You never know what you have till you lose it; is so true you were a pretty, smart, loving, and funny girl….I miss you with all my heart Candy. Losing you so soon was traumatizing and heartbreaking. I just want you to know you will forever be in my heart.
