R.I.P. Taz...

Earlier I checked on my hamster and gave him fresh food and water before I left to run some errands and he was fine... But I just checked on him again when I went in my room to change into some PJs and apparently he passed away at some point this afternoon... I know some people will say "it was just a hamster, it's not the same as a dog, cat, or horse" but he wasn't just a hamster.... I played with him everyday and developed a bond with him.

Rest in peace Taz! Our time was short, but I still love you.

I know what you mean Jess, I had g.pigs growing up and I loved those little critters they were my first pets and taught me the responsibility on taking care of a pet..and I was just as upset when they passed. They were my little piggies..I still have pictures of them..

I am so sorry Jess. Every one of our pets are precious family members so no, Taz was not "just a hamster".

There is no such thing as "just a hamster". It takes special people to love small animals with a big heart. You are lucky to be one of them. Taz was really cute.

Thank you all. This year has been really tough. And the past couple of weeks have just gotten worse... I'm just hoping at some point things will start getting better...
