CINNAMON HAS CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Hello My Dear Chowfriends,
It has been a while since I have been on and posted. It is with great sadness that I let you all know that our dear chowgirl Cinnamon passed away on Thanksgiving night. She would have been 9 years old today.
You may remember Mandy and Sojourner helped me with the transport of this sweet girl almost 3 years ago when her owner passed away and she needed a new forever home.
She was absolutely by far the friendliest happiest little chowgirl I've ever seen. We miss her terribly and Bailey is very sad. He really misses his buddy girl.
Since the summer, her arthritis was very bad. She was having a harder time getting around. I had her to the vet a couple of weeks ago when she seemed to go downhill very fast. They tested her for cushings disease which we suspected due to the big belly, thinning hair, having a hard time getting around, etc. The tests were inconclusive. Cinny Mini had a bad day Thanksgiving, she couldn't walk at all. I knew the call to the vet to put her down was happening in the next day or so but she died that evening on her own.
I have such a heart for the rescues but it is really really hard to lose them. sigh......

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Cinnamon. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Bailey and your family at this difficult time. She's at the bridge pain free with all the other beloved chow babies that we've lost this year.
Run free Cinnamon!
Tippsy and Jasper send purple kisses.

I am so sorry that Sweet Cinnamon crossed the rainbow bridge far too early. Poor baby girl knew when she was ready.
My deepest sympathies for Bailey and your family.
