With a heavy heart I'd never thought I'd post in this section again but my beloved angel Summer was given sleep due to severe colitus and torsion of the stomach.

My sympathies to you Annita. Bloat is awful. I'm sorry you had to see your baby in pain. However, Summer is with Bailey now. Bailey will take good care of the little one.

Anita, I am so very sorry to hear about Little Summer, I know how you feel right now, No it's not fair, she was not given a chance to even grow, and its O.K. to be angry, YOu see I lost a puppy years ago from the same problem, and sometimes it's harder to loose a little one, then one that has lived it full life, But remember that you gave her all the love you could and she you and that at this very moment she is being lead across that Rainbow Bridge, along with Pekoe, and Alf to guide her, into Chow chow Neverland.
Bless you for loving her and caring for her even though her time on this earth was so short. You will never forget her, Like I will never forget Heidi.

Thank you to each and everyone, it has taken sometime to even write regarding Summer's passing so soon after losing Bailey, your lovely thoughts and wishes are greatly appreciated.

As you can imagine the grief that has come with this and obviously my other girls are pining and very unsettled with the loss of 2 of the pack here, as I am too. It really hasn't been easy and I really appreciate everyone's kindness and concern.

So it may be a while before i'm back, just taking some much needed time out for a short break, just me and the girls in a log cabin on the Isle of Skye in the Highlands, no phone or internet or tv but just good food, fresh air and spectacular walks and peace for the girls and myself which is much needed.
